The Rested Woman | A Christian podcast for overwhelmed, busy woman seeking rest, balance, faith, and emotional healing.
Welcome to The Rested Woman Podcast , a soft, sacred place for the woman who is tired of being tired.
A home for the woman who has been strong for too long… who loves deeply, shows up for everyone, carries responsibilities quietly, and often feels like she’s running on empty while still trying to keep everything together.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by expectations, stretched thin by deadlines, or poured out to the point where your well feels dry, this space is for you.
Maybe you miss slow mornings, unhurried family time, or simply sitting with God without exhaustion pressing on your chest.
Maybe you wake up tired, go to bed tired, and feel like life has become one long cycle of doing, proving, performing, and trying to hold everything together in your own strength.
Let me remind you of something simple and true:
You were never meant to do life alone or carry it all on your own strength.
Each episode gently invites you to lay down the pressure, stop striving, and remember who you are in Christ. Here, you get permission to slow down , to breathe, to exhale, to take up space, to rest the way God intended.
This is for the woman who wakes up exhausted…
For the woman who has been operating on autopilot…
For the woman whose smile feels forced…
For the woman who wants her joy back…
For the woman who longs to feel present with her family and peaceful in her own body again.
Here, God meets you right where you are , in the tired places, the tender places, the places that need true restoration, not another temporary escape.
If you’re longing for peace, craving direction, or simply needing a space where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay… you’re in the right place.
Here, you’ll be held.
Here, you’ll be poured into.
Here, you’ll remember that rest isn’t weakness , it’s where strength begins.
Rest is alignment. Rest is returning to God’s pace for your life.
Inside this podcast, you’ll find:
- Practical tools for slowing down and creating sustainable rhythms
- Biblical truth that grounds you
- Simple practices that reconnect you with God
- Encouragement that reminds you you’re not alone
- Conversations that help you release pressure and rebuild your life with grace
- Guidance to rediscover your identity, purpose, and joy
If you are the woman who’s forgotten what joy feels like…
If you've been running on autopilot just trying to make it through the day…
If you’re ready to walk in God’s alignment again…

08.How to Deny Yourself and Follow Jesus (When It Feels Hard)
Thursday Apr 23, 2026
Thursday Apr 23, 2026
Welcome back to The Rested Woman Podcast!
I’m so glad you’re here.
Today, we’re sitting with something real… something many of us feel but don’t always know how to name: what it means to deny yourself in your walk with Jesus.
Because if you’re honest, you love God… you want to follow Him… but this process of letting go of old ways, old habits, and old versions of yourself can feel harder than you expected.
This conversation is for the woman who is trying.
The one who is learning to pause instead of react. The one who is choosing discipline over comfort. The one who feels the tension between who she used to be and who God is calling her to become.
We’re talking about what this looks like in real life, not just spiritually, but emotionally and mentally too. Why your mind pulls you back to what’s familiar. Why obedience can feel uncomfortable. And how to stay anchored in truth when your feelings are pulling you in a different direction.
We’ll also look at how even Jesus experienced temptation and tension and what we can learn from the way He responded.
If you’ve been feeling that internal pull… the struggle… that daily choosing, this episode is for you.
And if you’re in a place where you know you don’t want to navigate this alone, I want to gently invite you into a deeper level of support.
I offer one-on-one sessions where we walk through this together, helping you understand what’s coming up for you, break patterns, and build rhythms that support your growth both spiritually and emotionally.
If this resonates, you can schedule a discovery call HERE. It’s a space for us to connect, talk through where you are, and see how I can support you in this season.

07.Learning to Trust and Receive God’s Blessings Without Self-Sabotage
Sunday Mar 29, 2026
Sunday Mar 29, 2026
Have you ever prayed for something deeply… only to feel anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure when God actually answers?
In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we’re having an honest and heart-centered conversation about what it really looks like to trust God in the receiving season and why self-sabotage can show up right when prayers are being fulfilled.
Through a powerful reflection on Exodus 15:22–27 and Exodus 16, we explore how the Israelites struggled to trust God even after experiencing miracles and how we can find ourselves doing the same.
I also shares a personal testimony about returning to school as a single mom, navigating uncertainty, hearing God’s direction, facing rejection, and ultimately stepping into a calling that didn’t look how I expected. But even after the door opened, fear, doubt, and hesitation tried to take over.
This episode will help you:
Understand why receiving blessings can feel uncomfortable
Recognize subtle forms of self-sabotage rooted in fear
Learn how to trust God daily, not just in the waiting
Release control and embrace God’s provision with peace
Stay grounded in faith when stepping into new seasons
If you’ve ever struggled to fully receive what you’ve prayed for… this conversation is for you.
You don’t have to sabotage what God is providing. You can learn to trust it, walk in it, and stay.
Need Support in This Area?
If this is something you’re currently walking through, feeling resistance, overthinking, or struggling to fully receive what God is doing in your life, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
I offer 1:1 faith-based coaching where we work together to:
identify the root of self-sabotage patterns
renew your mindset with truth
help you step into what God is calling you to with clarity and confidence
Schedule a 30-minute discovery call with me where we can talk about where you are, what you’re experiencing, and how I can support you in this season.

06. For the One Who Feels Unloved: Understanding God’s Agape Love
Friday Mar 06, 2026
Friday Mar 06, 2026
The Unfailing Love
In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we reflect on the beauty and depth of God’s unfailing love , the kind of love the Bible describes as agape. It is a love that is unconditional, faithful, and not dependent on our circumstances, performance, or perfection.
So many of us move through life longing to feel loved, chosen, and secure. We often search for love in relationships, achievements, or validation from others, hoping it will fill the deeper longing within our hearts. But the truth is that before we ever began searching, God had already placed His love over our lives.
In this episode, we talk about what agape love truly means, how God created us intentionally as His masterpiece, and how His love remains constant even when life feels uncertain. We also reflect on how understanding God’s love can begin to heal the places in our hearts that have experienced disappointment, rejection, or loneliness.
This conversation is a gentle reminder that God’s love is not fragile or temporary , it is steady, faithful, and always available to us. His love invites us to rest, to trust, and to live from a place of being deeply known and loved.
If you’re on a journey of healing, faith, or personal growth and would like support along the way, I invite you to connect with me.
You can book a 30-minute discovery call where we can talk about where you are in your journey and how I can support you through faith-centered guidance and reflection.

05.Trusting God Beyond Fear of Making the Wrong Decision
Monday Feb 02, 2026
Monday Feb 02, 2026
Have you ever prayed about something, received clear confirmation from God, and yet still found yourself frozen, held back by fear, uncertainty, or the weight of making the wrong decision? In today’s episode, I share a personal reflection on this very struggle and dive into Matthew 16, exploring how the Pharisees asked for signs even when God’s presence was right in front of them.
We talk about why fear can creep in even when God has already spoken, how our flesh can cloud our understanding, and why discernment requires more than just waiting for another confirmation. I share how immersing ourselves in the Spirit, through prayer, stillness, and intimacy with God helps us clearly see His direction and take the next step in faith.
If you’ve ever hesitated to move forward, worried about making a mistake, or felt unsure even after hearing God’s voice, this episode is for you. Together, we’ll explore how trust, obedience, and drawing deeper into the Spirit can give us the courage to step forward even when the path feels uncertain.

There comes a time when rest doesn’t come from doing less, it comes from looking honestly at how you’re living. In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we explore the power of doing a life audit as a faith-led, compassionate practice to realign your life with peace, clarity, and God’s design for rest.
This episode is for the woman who feels stretched thin, overwhelmed, or disconnected from herself and God, even though on the outside everything looks “fine.” We talk about how stress, overcommitment, and blurred boundaries slowly pull us into survival mode, and how awareness becomes the first step toward true healing and restoration.
We reflect on faith and mental health, emotional and nervous system awareness, boundaries, identity, and what it looks like to invite God into every area of our lives, not with shame or pressure, but with honesty and grace. A life audit isn’t about fixing everything at once; it’s about creating space for God to realign what’s out of order and restore peace from the inside out.

02..When Enough Is Enough
Sunday Dec 14, 2025
Sunday Dec 14, 2025
There comes a moment when pushing through no longer works, when your body, mind, and spirit quietly (or loudly) say, enough. In this episode of The Rested Woman Podcast, we talk about the sacred pause that happens when exhaustion becomes an invitation rather than a failure.
This conversation is for the woman who has been strong for too long, faithful yet tired, capable yet depleted. We explore how burnout, overwhelm, and constant striving can pull us out of alignment with God, and how recognizing “enough” can become the beginning of true restoration.
We reflect on faith and mental health, emotional healing, boundaries, identity, and what it looks like to stop living in survival mode and start living from a place of rest. Choosing rest is not quitting, it’s often the most faithful, obedient decision we can make.
